The MFPinball Winter Season #4 pinball tournament, held on February 5, 2024, at Lynn’s Arcade in Seaside, California, was a thrilling display of skill and sportsmanship. With 34 players battling it out across 5 rounds, the competition was fierce, and the atmosphere was electric.
Tournament Overview
The tournament kicked off at 7:00 PM and lasted for approximately 2 and a half hours . Players were divided into groups and faced off in head-to-head matches, earning points based on their finishing position in each round. The player with the most points at the end of the tournament emerged victorious.
Game Spotlight: Evel Knievel Heats Up Round 4
Round 4 saw an electrifying match on the classic Evel Knievel (EM) pinball machine. Greg Gorelick (IFPA rank 1831) clinched the top spot, followed by Philip Priddy (IFPA rank 1175) and Michael Mattsson (IFPA rank 440).

- Greg Gorelick (IFPA rank 1831): With a total of 61 IFPA events under his belt, Greg’s experience and talent shone through, securing him the champion’s title.
- Xavier Marin (IFPA rank 612): Bringing their A-game to the tournament, Xavier secured the second-place position, showcasing their pinball prowess in 169 IFPA events.
- Philip Priddy (IFPA rank 1175): Adding another podium finish to his impressive record of 118 IFPA events, Philip snagged the third-place spot.
- Matthew Talley (IFPA rank 418): Representing Seaside, CA, Matthew put on a fantastic performance, claiming the fourth-place position with 148 IFPA events to their name.
