On a day marked by broken clouds and a cool 58°F, Lynn’s Arcade transformed into an arena for a Group Knockout Tournament like no other. The event unfolded over 11 rounds of intense competition, where 12 players vied for the title, navigating the treacherous waters of the Fair Strikes system.
The Showdown on JAWS
The highlight of the tournament was an epic showdown in Round 6 on the JAWS (Pro) machine by Stern. This game, a recent addition to the pinball world since January 2024, saw Laura Masana, Sam Stanko, Sneha Kolar, and Lucy Cachux battle it out in a gripping match that had spectators on the edge of their seats.
Triumph of the Champions
As the final ball drained and the scores were tallied, the tournament crowned its champions:
- Sneha Kolar: Defying the odds with an IFPA rank of 5736, Sneha’s victory after 83 events is a testament to her rising prowess in the pinball community.
- Lucy Cachux: Representing California with grace, Lucy, ranked 2400, showcased her skills and strategic gameplay through 118 events to secure the second spot.
- Sam Stanko: Hailing from the scenic Seaside, CA, Sam, with a rank of 2509, demonstrated her competitive spirit and passion for pinball in her 57th event, landing her in third place.
- BeeOtch Westrum: Also from Seaside, CA, BeeOtch, with her experience from 128 events and a rank of 2251, clinched the fourth position, adding to her impressive pinball journey.

The tournament was a showcase of 34 pinball machines, each bringing its unique flavor to the event. Highlights included:
