The Atomic Age Modern Group Match Play event drew 40 enthusiasts for a riveting six rounds of intense competition, each round lasting an exhilarating 3 hours. Under the clear skies and a balmy 89°F, players battled it out on some of the finest pinball machines.

Game Spotlight: A Showdown on Cactus Canyon

The spotlight of the tournament undoubtedly shone on the epic game during Round 6 on the Cactus Canyon (Remake Special) by Chicago Gaming. Released in November 2021, this machine saw an intense battle:

1. Wiley Bumtail from Phoenix, AZ (IFPA rank 3839) clinched the first place with skillful flipper action.
2. Jason Hecht from Chandler, AZ (IFPA rank 2485) secured the second spot, showing commendable precision.
3. Cory Tinsley, an unranked player, showcased impressive talent by finishing third.
4. Olivia Patterson, another unranked competitor, rounded out the fourth position with a solid performance.
