On May 26, 2024, pinball enthusiasts gathered at EinStein’s Pub and Arcade for the exhilarating EinStein’s=MatchplayCompetition². With 27 talented players competing in seven intense rounds, each lasting one game, the atmosphere was electric. The top 8 players then advanced to the finals, which comprised two rounds with three games each. Organized by the dedicated Space City Pinball, this event was a rollercoaster of excitement under broken clouds, with a temperature of 91°F that felt like a scorching 103°F.

Lee Balusek, ranked 490 by IFPA, emerged as the sharpest shooter, outlasting his competitors. Grayson Turner from Spring, TX, ranked 1709, secured second place with a valiant effort.
