When the clock struck 6:30 PM, 17 brave souls gathered at the Pinball Gallery for a night of pure pinball glory. The event, named Ball Busters Pinball League – 2024 S3 W1, featured a thrilling format of 5 rounds with 1 game per round. The tournament lasted for an intense 1 hour and 48 minutes, filled with nail-biting action. Under the clear sky and a warm temperature of 85ยฐF, the atmosphere was set for an unforgettable evening.
A Paradise for Pinball Enthusiasts: Pinball Gallery
Located at 81 Lancaster Ave #20, Malvern, PA, the Pinball Gallery is a haven for pinball lovers. With a blend of old and new pinball machines and classic video games, this arcade stands out as one of the best. Bill Disney, the organizer and owner, has created an atmosphere that feels both nostalgic and fresh.
Revving Up on Mustang (Premium)
In Round 2, the action reached its peak on the Mustang (Premium) pinball machine by Stern from January 2014. This game, themed around the iconic muscle car, saw Stephanie Savy take the wheel and race to victory. With her deft flipper skills and strategic gameplay, Stephanie outpaced Tina Kirby, Anita Thallmayer, and Alex Gehris, leaving them in the dust. The roar of the Mustang’s engine mirrored the electrifying energy of the match.
Standout Machines that Stole the Show
The tournament featured a diverse lineup of 16 machines, each with its own unique charm. Scooby-Doo (CE) by Spooky Pinball, released in February 2023, captivated players with its mystery-solving adventures. The Whoโs Tommy Pinball Wizard by Data East, a classic from February 1994, brought the legendary rock opera to life with its dynamic gameplay. Roller Disco by Gottlieb, from February 1980, added a retro flair with its disco-themed design. Toy Story 4 (LE) by Jersey Jack Pinball, a newer release from June 2022, enchanted everyone with its vibrant animations and engaging playfield.
Battling Through the Ranks: Tournament Winners
