What an electrifying evening at the MFStrikes!! tournament held on June 20, 2024. The tension was palpable as 17 pinball wizards faced off in a grueling Basic Knockout format, battling through 11 intense rounds. Players were paired in two-player games, with elimination looming after three strikes. The event, lasting approximately three hours, unfolded at the iconic Lynn’s Arcade: A Pinball Parlor and Can Slangery, where both veterans and newcomers showcased their skills.
The Vibe at Lynn’s Arcade
Lynn’s Arcade, in Seaside, California, is more than just a pinball bar. Located at 1760 Fremont Boulevard, Suite D1, this charming arcade offers a laid-back, fun-filled environment perfect for dates, family outings, or a solo pinball session. With a stellar deal of $20 for unlimited play, it’s no wonder the place is a favorite among locals. The arcade’s atmosphere is enhanced by its welcoming vibe, complete with beer, ciders, and kid-friendly facilities. Cary Carmichael, the mastermind behind the tournament, ensured everything ran smoothly, contributing to a memorable evening despite the overcast skies and a cool 54°F temperature outside.
