Hello, flipper friends! Despite the light rain, the atmosphere was electric at The Pinball Lounge on July 30th for the Bonanza tournament. Thirty-five players competed in six rounds of intense pinball action, and we witnessed some thrilling matches. Let’s dive into the highlights of the evening, including the standout game on Game of Thrones (Pro) and a look at the top machines and players.

From classics like Harlem Globetrotters On Tour to the latest hits like Foo Fighters, there’s something for everyone. The venue is sparkling clean, with tap-and-go card payments for easy access to the games. It’s a perfect escape on a rainy day or a hot summer afternoon. The bar and service are top-notch, making it a great spot for both families and serious pinball players alike.
Epic Battle on Game of Thrones (Pro)
Round 3 was an absolute nail-biter, featuring an epic showdown on Game of Thrones (Pro). Nick Smith took full advantage of the “Hand of the King” mode, racking up points and securing a first-place finish. His strategic play left Alex Marino, Garrett Smoke, and John Osborne in awe as he demonstrated why he’s ranked 11th in the state. The game’s dynamic playfield and deep ruleset make it a favorite, and Nick’s performance was a masterclass in pinball wizardry.
Standout Machines: A Feast for Pinball Fans
The tournament featured 32 machines, each with its own unique charm. Deadpool (Pro) brought humor and fast-paced action, while Foo Fighters (LE) wowed players with its immersive sound and stunning artwork. Batman 66 (Premium) and Stranger Things (Premium) provided nostalgic thrills, with their iconic themes and intricate features. Congo stood out with its challenging gameplay, and Pulp Fiction (SE) was a hit with its retro vibe. Monster Bash (Remake LE) was another favorite, offering a monster-packed pinball experience that’s hard to beat.
