Founded in Houston, Texas, in 2021, Barrels of Fun quickly established itself as a premium manufacturer in the modern pinball landscape. The company was built by a powerhouse duo: Australian film industry veteran David van Es (formerly of Spooky Pinball) and Brian Savage, a retired executive known for managing Hasbro-licensed collectors’ clubs. Combining deep creative production experience with a masterful understanding of the high-end collectibles market, Barrels of Fun focuses on fully licensed, highly immersive, and visually stunning machines.

In late 2023, Barrels of Fun made massive waves with their debut machine, Jim Henson’s Labyrinth. Designed to be an elite collectible, the game was strictly limited to a production run of 1,100 units worldwide with a premium price tag of $10,600.
