The mode structure is clean and inviting. Hitting any major shot — either orbit or either ramp — three times starts a mode, and qualifying all four three times each unlocks the Total Isolation mini-wizard mode. Standups beside the left ramp light locks for multiball, while a randomly appearing “Upside Down” turns the drop targets into a big-points bonanza. Arming 2X scoring by looping the left inner loop ten times, then cashing it in at the scoop, is a key to a high score.
The cleverest wrinkle is the action button, which lets you destroy the Demogorgon once per game — but only before the ball registers as drained, so a perfectly timed deployment on a doomed ball can be worth a fortune.
