With rounds lasting nearly three hours, the competition was fierce, and the atmosphere was electric. Organizer Rachel Bess orchestrated a smooth and engaging event that showcased some of the best pinball talent around.
Toy Story 4 Steals the Show in Round 4
Round 4 featured an unforgettable match on Toy Story 4 (LE) by Jersey Jack Pinball, released in June 2022. The game, inspired by the beloved Pixar movie, brought a whimsical and nostalgic feel to the round. Connor Kennedy, with an IFPA rank of 1732, channeled his inner Woody and Buzz, navigating the playful and challenging playfield with precision. His skillful use of multiball modes and sharp shots to complete various character missions propelled him to victory. Jim Smith AZ from Phoenix, Keegan Crandall, and Ty Bull put up a valiant fight, but Connor’s mastery of the game’s intricate features earned him the top spot.
A Round of Applause for Our Champions
A huge round of applause to Jeff Barthold, who clinched first place with an impressive IFPA rank of 1105 and a history of 256 IFPA events. Jeff’s consistent performance and dedication to the sport are truly commendable.
In second place, Walter Dony from Phoenix, with an IFPA rank of 324 and 148 events under his belt, demonstrated his formidable skills and tenacity.
Roland Nadeau, also from Phoenix and holding an impressive IFPA rank of 36 with 307 events, secured third place. Roland’s high ranking and extensive experience highlight his exceptional talent in the pinball world.
Rounding out the top four, Jay Bondelli, with an IFPA rank of 1133 and 108 events, showcased his competitive spirit and solid gameplay.

The tournament featured 58 pinball machines, each bringing its own unique flair and challenges. Here are a few highlights:
