The 1up Greenwood April Monthly tournament took place on April 28, 2024, at The 1UP Arcade Bar in Greenwood Village. This Basic Knockout Tournament featured 33 players in a head-to-head format, with players facing elimination after three strikes. The tournament unfolded over 11 thrilling rounds, lasting three hours and 50 minutes.

Highlight of Round 2: James Bond 007 (Pro) by Stern

Round 2 saw an exceptional match on the James Bond 007 (Pro) pinball machine by Stern, released in September 2022. The game results were as follows:

1. John Devore from Denver, IFPA rank 3815
2. Walt Wood from Englewood, CO, IFPA rank 41

John Devore’s performance on this modern classic machine was nothing short of spectacular, outplaying the highly ranked Walt Wood in a nail-biting game.

A big congratulations to the winners of the 1up Greenwood April Monthly tournament:

1. Justin Hinman (IFPA rank 1117, 220 events): Justin’s consistent and strategic gameplay earned him the top spot.
2. Lewis Ritenour (IFPA rank 1384, 80 events): Lewis showed remarkable skill, securing second place.
3. Ryan Altermatt (IFPA rank 442, 281 events): With a strong performance, Ryan clinched third place.
4. Jason Lechuga (IFPA rank 3653, 29 events): Jason’s tenacity and skill earned him a commendable fourth place.
